Mount Mitchell Cabin

The Mount Mitchell Cabin is located on the grounds of historic Engadine Inn. This is our largest cabin and also happens to have the best of the available views from our six mountain cabins. This family friendly cabin near Waynesville also offers the following amenities…

• 2 Bedrooms (king bed upstairs, queen bed downstairs)
• Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room
• Accommodates a maximum of 6 overnight guests
• 2 Bathrooms (upstairs has a jetted spa tub and separate shower, downstairs has a tub with shower)
• Large closets and chests of drawers in both bedrooms
• Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the living room and on the porch
• Wood burning fireplace (operated seasonally from October 15 to March 15, wood provided daily for one 2-3 hour fire)
• Fully equipped kitchen, adequate for preparing and serving meals
• Dine-in kitchen with small table (and chairs)
• Bed linens provided (sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.)
• Very large covered porch with tables and chairs offering our best view of the mountains
