FAQ About Your Stay
Check-in is from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Check-out is by 11:00 am for all accommodations.
Engadine is a self check-in property by design. You arrive on your own schedule and let yourself in with a private code, with no front desk and no meeting time to coordinate. An innkeeper lives on the property, so if you need anything at all, a call or text reaches someone who is already here. You will receive your door code and detailed arrival instructions by email before your stay.
Inn guests: your instructions will bring you straight to your suite in the main house. Someone from our team is usually on the property during the check-in window and is glad to help, though they are often working elsewhere on the grounds rather than at the house.
Cabin guests: head directly to your cabin. There is no stop at the main house.
Arriving after 9:00 pm? Please call ahead at (828) 820-7016 so we can make arrangements. That is the same number to use if you need anything during your stay.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
• Cancel within 24 hours of booking: full refund
• Cancel 15 or more days before arrival: $25 cancellation fee
• Cancel 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of total stay charged
• Cancel within 7 days of arrival: full stay charged
• No-shows and early departures: full stay charged

Breakfast is included for guests staying in the Inn.
Cabin guests may join breakfast at the Inn based on availability for $22 per person. Prefer to stay in? Breakfast can be brought up to your cabin for $20 per person.
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property at speeds up to 300 Mbps. Cell service is strong as well, thanks to a nearby 5G tower.
Daily housekeeping is not provided for rooms in the Inn.
Daily housekeeping for cabins is not provided but can be added for an additional charge of $25 per day.
Yes, children of all ages are welcome in all of our mountain cabins, including Cherokee Cabin. Our inn suites are reserved for adult guests (18 and older).
Yes, we are pet friendly for a fee of $50 per night in all of our mountain cabins. Pets must be well behaved, kept on a leash when outdoors, and guests are responsible for picking up waste. Food and water bowls are provided along with dog towels for wiping muddy paws. Please view our Pet Friendly page for more details.
Parking is free for all guests. Inn guests park next to the main house; cabin guests park directly in front of their cabin.
All rooms, cabins and indoor public spaces are smoke and vape free. Guests may smoke or vape on porches and at outdoor spaces.

Yes. Engadine Inn & Cabins is a full-service wedding venue and elopement destination set on 12 acres of Blue Ridge Mountain property. We host intimate weddings, elopements, and private events. Up to 100 guests for the ceremony and reception, with on-site overnight lodging for up to 35 across the inn and cabins.
Yes, we host elopements and micro-weddings as well as larger celebrations on our 12-acre estate.
No. You’re welcome to bring your own licensed vendors; we don’t require any in particular, though all vendors are subject to our approval. Once you’re booked, we provide a preferred vendor list. We do require a day-of coordinator. A wedding planner isn’t required but is highly recommended, and we’re happy to recommend both a coordinator and a planner.
